PIVÅ by Karl Andersson & Söner is an extensive family of sculptural steady tables, inspired by majestic trees and the shape of the transition where the trunk meets the ground. The design of the base make full use of all the material in a plank of wood and accentuates the natural shades, enhances the different grains and the growth rings of the heartwood - giving each table a truly unique pattern.

The collection includes a wide range of tables for all sorts of rooms, settings and contexts. The largest tables are big enough to make ideal conference tables or dining tables. The medium-sized tables are well-suited for use in cafés or for spontaneous and informal meetings. The smallest can be used as coffee tables or as imposing pedestals for plants or objects on display.
The tables comes in various heights, table top shapes and sizes. Performed in natural oak, birch and ash, as wells as stained versions. The tops are made of veneered MDF, also available in a laminate finish and as a black desktop. The Pivå tables are supplied unassembled. Just a few hand tools are all that is needed to disassemble the various components of the tables after many years of continuous use.
